The Riviera Club has never been just one thing. For some families, it’s all about summers by the pool. For others it’s wellness classes, friendships, swim lessons, tennis matches, community events, or simply having a place that feels familiar and welcoming year after year. What makes the Rivi different from any other club is the combination of all of it — aquatics, family recreation, fitness, and community — and the families that have chosen it for generations.
Aquatics
At the heart of The Rivi is one of the most iconic swimming experiences in Indianapolis. From the moment the outdoor pools open each summer, the Club campus comes alive with families, friendships, traditions, and the unmistakable feeling of a true Rivi summer.
The outdoor pool is one of the largest in the country and has opened every summer since 1933. The indoor pool provides year-round access to aquatic exercise, family recreation, and competitive programming for swimmers of all levels. Swim programming supports the Club’s mission of building confidence and community through the water.

The Riviera Club offers flexible spaces for groups, gatherings and community activities of all kinds. Whether you’re hosting a wedding reception, family gathering, team event, dance rehearsal, workshop or martial arts class, the Rivi provides welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces that can adapt to your needs. Through our partnership with Sahm's Hospitality Group, guests have access to customizable catering options. Members and non-members can inquire about available spaces. There are fees associated with all rentals.
