The Riviera Club offers a setting that feels relaxed, welcoming, and distinctly Indy. One of the city’s most historic private clubs, our spaces have hosted life events such as graduation parties, wedding celebrations, birthday gatherings, nonprofit fundraisers, business meetings, retirement parties and family reunions,

The Rivi Clubhouse and exterior faciities offer flexible venue options, as well as an atmosphere that feels more personal and connected than traditional event venues.

All events are catered by Sahm’s Hospitality Group. From casual parties to elevated celebrations, the goal is simple: host events people genuinely enjoy attending.

The Ballroom is The Riviera Club’s largest event space, accommodating up to 300 guests. Located on the second level of the Club and accessible by elevator, the Ballroom combines flexible event functionality with the timeless character and charm that have defined The Rivi for generations.

Large windows bring in natural light and overlook the Club’s historic pool. The surrounding architecture and atmosphere reflect the warmth and charm of one of Indianapolis’ most historic private clubs.

Over the years, the Ballroom has hosted everything from wedding receptions and milestone celebrations to holiday traditions like Mother’s Day Brunch, Easter gatherings, and Brunch with Santa. It’s a space filled with history, connection, and memories — and continues to serve as a gathering place for new traditions still being created today.

The Ballroom features a stage at the north end. The entire second floor can be rented by reserving the North and South meeting rooms and the Rivi Lounge.

The Lounge is adjacent to and available to rent with the Ballroom. It contains a full service bar and is often used for cocktail hours.

Located off the north side of the Ballroom on the second level of the club, this intimate space can hold up to 15 people.

North Meeting Room

A conference room with multiple tables arranged in rows, each labeled with a different number or name, and clear water bottles on each table. The room features large windows allowing natural light, a white projection screen at the front, and a ceiling with multiple black ceiling fans and circular light fixtures.

The South Room is located on the second level of the club at the south end of the Ballroom. This space can host up to 70 people.

The Pavilion is perfect for outdoor gatherings and parties for up to 100 people. A playground is adjacent.
