The Riviera Club is a member-owned private recreational and social club on the north side of Indianapolis. New members have been welcomed here every day since 1933.

The Riviera Club is built around one of the country’s premier outdoor pools — and everything a great summer day deserves. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the outdoor aquatics campus is the heart of it all: the historic pool, a youth pool and splash pad, The Beach Stand, free popsicles on Saturdays... but The Rivi is more than just the water. It’s fitness programs, kids’ recreation, racquet sports, and community programs that keep the place humming through every season. Why members join is the promise of summer. Why they stay is the feeling that this place is theirs.

Aquatics
The outdoor pool is the heart of our Club and the indoor pool keeps swimmers moving year-round. Swim lessons build confidence from the first splash. Our swim team and swim leagues serve everyone from recreational swimmers to fierce competitors — even having produced Olympians. Serious swimming (and seriously fun swimming) has always had a home at the Rivi.
Kids & Families
Kids grow up at the Rivi. They grow strong, independent and confident. Summer camps, swim team, art projects, karate, tennis clinics, holiday parties, and family events fill the calendar year round. Some kids find their swim stroke here. Some find their best friends. Everyone finds something that’s uniquely theirs.
Fitness & Wellness
Fitness here looks like whatever you want it to. The Rivi meets you wherever you are, offering a full gym, group classes, personal training, tennis and pickleball courts, and instructors who actually learn your name. Some members are training for their next race. Some are showing up for 6am spin class. All of them are building something that lasts.
Community
This is a place people belong to in every sense. There are as many ways to get involved as there are reasons to show up — events in our Ballroom, the Foundation’s mission of swim safety, and the Garden Group serving nutrition needs beyond our gates. Our event calendar gives members something to look forward to every season.

The Riviera Club has anchored Midtown Indianapolis summers since April of 1933. We’re a 501(c)(7), not-for-profit, member-owned social and recreational club. That means the people who swim, play and gather here are the same people who care for it generation after generation.
The Rivi is still here because people have cared enough to fight for it.
